Well here we are in 2006 and once again the group
has had a line up of changes.
Our singer and loyal friend Nigel decided to leave
the group for pastures new and Michael our whistle and harmonica player moved on to form his own blue grass band. We would
like to thank both Nigel and Mick for their contribution adding to the success of the group.
The good news is that Perry our original singer
returned to the band bringing with him his own unique sound.
Chris on the accordian has settled in nicely,
strengthening the sound and bringing new elements allowing the dance to perform music for Ceili dances.
It is with regret to announce the death of Brendan
Cassidy, our little Irish friend, Bodrhan player, singer and wit. He will be sadly missed. God bless Brendan.
On a good note, Edmund Adamus our singer and Bodrhan
player in the 1990s was married to Catherine in Paris last October. The group wish the happy couple all the best.
The new year promises to be another busy one..Another
CD is on the cards and we look forward to the future craic performing at Celili dances, weddings, pubs and clubs (check out
the Gig Guide for the latest ............)
